Saw this fine specimen recently. I'm pretty sure this aggressively vented and scooped hood design is called "IF I'M NOT SPEEDING NOW I WILL BE SOON, SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL TICKET ME NOW." It's unapologetic, that's for sure. And for that, I kind of like it.

But if its turbo it serves function...
It is annoyingly large it seems though, Is it actually, or was it the angle of the dangle?

It either functions or the owner is an enormous poseur (Perrin stickers); the car seemed very well sorted, if over the top for my taste, so I'm guessing the former. And regarding the angle of the dangle: it looks even bigger in person or from the side (it doesn't slope back gently, so it really sticks up), and I was almost disappointed that it didn't look as big in the picture.*
*That's what she said.

He drive a Subaru, most of them are posers..... No offense to anyone who drives one.
But we have one local to me, it has STI badges and shit, I asked him about it and he was like "Well its a WRX...." I walked away before he could finish.

Several! To which do you refer? If you're talking about that stolen one from a few months ago, no, but I damn sure looked for it (out my window at work).

I'm down to flame proof underwear bro.
Its my opinion.
I did say most, not all.
Its mostly here, could be a pandemic.....
A lot of Subaru owners run around with "STI" badges, and yet they drive a WRX.
I met one kid, he has a base model Impreza, no badging, I asked about it and he was like " Its no turbo model, but its good enough for me" He had his all set for rally cross, real nice car, and the kid was cool in my books since he had no poser BS on it.

My used '04 wagon had a nice STI badge on it when I bought it. I took that shit off right away.

Good on you.
Its respectable that someone would actually be honest with what they have.
Like the "M" whatever you want to put it on BMW's

Thanks! I don't really like to stand out anyways and I'm certainly no rally driver either.
Wait I thought those badges make the car faster?

The more badges you have the faster your car...
Which explains why my debadged Cobalt is so damn slow.....
But that noise it makes....

Sounds good! But yea stickers would help a lot. I saw a picture a while back of I think an older 325i with a sticker that said +10hp. That's a sticker you need! Tried to find the picture but couldn't

I may need that sticker....
I may even destickerize the Cobalt, and completely bomb the fuck out of the truck, its nearly there as you can see in that vid.
Here is another shot of the truck
I want the entire rear window covered...

I'm brave.
I've said things like this to peoples face.
It may be disrespectful, but it is just as bad for them to label a car as an STI......when its a WRX....
Its like a transvestite, its false advertisement.

In my corner of the car enthusiast world, it's "M" badges on non-M cars.

I've been around that world....Never lived it with a car, but worked at a place where my boss was a BMW Nut, he had two E30s and an E4somethingorother.
All were great cars.
I got to drive all of his cars, a couple M6's, M5's, a few Z8's Z4's, One ZHP M3, and some other random other cars.
Great people in that section of the enthusiat crowd, til you hit the douches.

People love my cars for some reason, all of them have been outrageous.
I've had two straight piped Toyota Corollas, that were also slammed on their balls.
2 Open header Crown Vics
One sleeper Cougar.
And many more that were just odd....
The truck confuses me though, everyone who sees it and rides in it loves it, its simple, it does what you ask it to, want to slide it? Go for it, drop a geat and mat it the back is out. Want to do a brake stand, go for it. Want to haul almost 700lbs of wood, the truck does it....its a 1991 with 270k miles and still runs great.

Hahaha I have no words for all that. That is an ecclectic resume. I dig most all trucks for no good reason so I fit into the confusing crowd. I love MT trucks. I use a '99 ranger every now and again when my car needs work. It's a 5sp but it's the one without an engine. I'm convinced the gas pedal is a second brake

Which one was the stolen one? Which ones have you seen around seattle?
